Marketing Staff Moves at Weatherby

Paso Robles, CA - -(Ammoland.com)- Weatherby, Inc. announces the hiring of Mike Schwiebert to marketing manager and the promotion of Tim Frampton to marketing coordinator.
Frampton replaces Dan Weatherby, who has moved to the position of e-commerce manager and will lead the expansion of the company’s e-commerce site. Dan Weatherby also assists in the custom shop.
As a team, Schwiebert and Frampton are responsible for various communications projects in both the print and digital areas, including advertising and email programs, the annual catalog, sales materials, website and Weatherby Nation™, the company’s online community for hunters and shooters. They are involved in market research and product development, and oversee the company’s public relations program, working with outdoor writers and other industry professionals. In addition, Schwiebert and Frampton organize exhibits for trade and consumer shows and represent Weatherby® at numerous events.
Schwiebert served as Weatherby’s marketing coordinator from 2000 to 2004. He has since held sales/marketing positions with organizations including Safari Club International and HorseTV. Schwiebert also owns 832 Marketing, a marketing consulting company specializing in the outdoor and equine industries. His many years of experience in the hunting industry include working as a professional outfitter and guide in North America, and safari camp supervisor in South Africa.
Frampton has been with Weatherby for seven years, serving as assembler, receiver, and service and warranty representative. He has also worked in tech support and the custom shop. Prior to joining Weatherby, Frampton worked in tech support for an optics company. He is a long-time firearms enthusiast and hunter.
